Ahh, ok. yeah so if air is just leaking past the seal it would probably sound just like I'm hearing. I have a replacement seal in hand... we'll see.

I think I ordered cheapo ones (Dorman?). Maybe a Mopar part will fit better? I cleaned up the axle tube end quite a lot but I bet a little more sanding wouldn't hurt.

For the hot part right out of the compressor (I have an ARB dual) you can use E85 fuel line (flare fitting). Adapters from NPT to Flare are easy to find on Amazon.
